DART cancelled after wire damage

Damage to overhead wires at Howth junction resulted in DART services to Howth being cancelled from 4 p.m. yesterday

Damage to overhead wires at Howth junction resulted in DART services to Howth being cancelled from 4 p.m. yesterday. An emergency bus service was put in place to get passengers to Howth.

A spokesman said they hoped to repair the damage overnight and be back in service this morning. He could not say what caused the damage.
