The warning for counties Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry was issued late on Sunday night and remains in place until midnight on Monday.
Drivers are asked to exercise caution in case of debris and fallen branches, particularly on secondary routes.
Take care on the roads today with the high winds. Cyclists, pedestrians and wheelie bins will be particularly vulnerable.
