At least 10 people have died in a fire at an old people's home in western Austrian, authorities said today.
Firefighters were still trying to put out the blaze at the facility, located in the town of Egg, according to police in Vorarlberg province.
The Austria Press Agency reported that 24 people lived in the home and that, at 8pm local time (7pm Irish time), the second and third floors of the building were still on fire.
