Customs officers have today seized firearms and drugs from a vehicle in Dublin.

Customs officers have today seized firearms and drugs from a vehicle in Dublin.

Three firearms, two of which were loaded, a quantity of ammunition and 1.5 kilos of cannabis were discovered during an operation at Dublin port this afternoon.

The firearms, which include a Glock and a 38 Smith & Wesson Special, are currently undergoing forensic analysis

Follow-up enquiries are being conducted by gardaí at Store Street Garda Station and investigations are ongoing.
