Gardaí in north Dublin are investigating reports of a suspected gun attack at a house in Donaghmede.

Gardaí in north Dublin are investigating reports of a suspected gun attack at a house in Donaghmede.

Gardaí were called to the scene some time after 1.50am after it was reported a number of shots had been fired at the house in Grattan Lodge.

A Garda spokeswoman said four shots were fired at a door within the house which is subdivided into flats. The house was occupied at the time but nobody was injured.

The scene is being examined by a team of forensic officers.
