Gardaí say they are treating as suspicious a fire at an apartment block in Belmullet, Co Mayo, early yesterday.
A man in his 20s was rescued by firefighters from the building at Barrack Street at about 2am and was taken to Mayo General Hospital. He was released later.
The area remained sealed off as gardaí carried out a forensic examination.
