A road haulier was granted an injunction in the High Court yesterday preventing Dublin Corporation from closing a roadway at its junction with the newly opened M50. Mr Patrick Hand, Willsboro, Clonshaugh Road, Dublin, who was not legally represented, told Mr Justice Barron he ran a small haulage business from his yard and employed six people. It was essential to his business that he was able to use the road on which he lived to travel in both directions. Mr Justice Barron granted the injunction until Monday.
