Champion Hurdler Brave Inca is unlikely to race in Britain until he defends his crown at Cheltenham.
Colm Murphy's eight-year-old pleased his handler since coming back into training and is set to race solely in Ireland until lining up at the Festival in March.
"The biggest problem is getting him fit enough to travel over as travelling over takes so much out of him," he explained.
"He'd probably not be fit enough until after Christmas and then there's really only the Irish Champion Hurdle and then Cheltenham.
"He's summered really really well, I'm delighted with how well he is and it'll be all roads to Cheltenham hopefully."
Brave Inca is likely to bid for back-to-back wins in the Maplewood Developments Morgiana Hurdle - recently upgraded to Grade One status - at Punchestown on November 19th.
"You'll see him in November for the Morgiana, we got a great cheer last year and hopefully all will go to plan again," he said.
"He never knows when he's beat but it's also his style of racing, he only does the bare minimum but the more you ask, the more he keeps giving you.
"He's doing some really nice work at the moment, I stepped him up and he's going really well and I couldn't be happier with him.
"He's laid-back off the track, the biggest problem is trying to get work into him because even at home he only does the bare minimum.
"But we'll try and get as much into him as we can before his first run."
