A man has been killed when he came off his motorcycle on a road in Kerry.
The incident occurred at 6.45pm on the Cahirciveen to Sneem Road, about three miles outside Sneem.
The motorcyclist, who was travelling alone, came off the bike and hit a ditch.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to Tralee Hospital where a postmortem will be carried out on Wednesday.

The road was closed for a short time to facilitate a forensic examination.
