Body of missing Dundalk man found

Gardai in Dundalk said the body of a man found earlier this evening is believed to be missing local man Kenneth Fagan.

Mr Fagan (23) was last seen at 1.30pm on Wednesday August 6th.

Gardai said a body was found in the Lennon Melia area of Dundalk town earlier this evening by a search team working with gardai and civil defence in searching for the missing man.

A postmortem will be carried out tomorrow morning at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
