A child alert this evening for a missing boy has been cancelled after he was located safe and well.
The boy, from Ballybrack, Co Dublin, had last been seen in the company of his 61-year-old father.
Gardaí had been seeking the public’s assistance in tracing their whereabouts after they were last seen at about 3.45pm today in Ballybrack village.
The Garda requested that the family’s privacy be respected.
