Iarnród Éireann has appealed for help in finding the owner of a dog who travelled solo on a train from Co Kildare to Dublin this morning.
The dog was found on the 8.46am Sallins-Heuston service, after reportedly getting on at Sallins station.
The canine commuter was said to be sleeping soundly in Heuston station after his journey, but Iarnród Éireann is eager to reunite him with his owner.
“Hamish”, who commuted on the 08:46 Sallins - Heuston this morning, is currently being looked after at home by a staff member, but we are still looking for his owner. Sallins / Naas area, do you know someone who owns a dog like this? pic.twitter.com/aqAu5JO35e
