Limited service on bus, tram and train during the festive period

Dublin Bus to run until 9pm; Luas 8pm and Dart 9pm on Christmas Eve

Public transport operators will put on a weekend service for last-minute shoppers in the capital, although buses and trains will stop running from 8pm to 9pm.

Dublin Bus will operate a Saturday service on Christmas Eve with buses running until approximately 9pm. There will be no Nitelinks and the service will not resume until December 27th.

There will be no buses on Christmas Day, but a Sunday service will operate on all routes on St Stephen’s Day.

Luas trams will stop running at 8pm tomorrow night. There will be no service on Christmas Day.

A Sunday Service will be in operation on St Stephen’s Day from 9am. There will be a normal service on the weekend of December 27th and 28th.

Dart

On the Dart, a Saturday service is in operation and all routes will cease by approximately 9pm.

There will be no rail services on Christmas Day or St Stephen’s Day.

The weekend of December 27th and 28th will have a Saturday and Sunday service.

On Monday December 29th and Tuesday 30th December, weekday intercity services will operate with minor alterations.
