The train line between Clontarf Road and Howth Junction has re-opened following an incident at Raheny Dart station on Monday afternoon.
Commuters were advised on Monday of “severe disruptions” to northbound trains following an incident at the north Dublin train station.
All services are now back in operation but train customers can expect “knock-on delays” with services running up to 15 minuts behind schedule.
Irish Rail tweeted shortly after 3pm on Monday that emergency services had been called to the scene in Raheny.
Gardaí remained at the scene throughout Monday afternoon.
Customers were advised to get a Dublin Bus service to Howth Junction or Malahide where they could connect with northern commuter services.
Dublin Bus accepted all rail tickets throughout the afternoon.
However, Irish Rail said Bus Éireann would not accept train tickets and that customers must purchase a new ticket and apply for a refund on the rail ticket.
