A woman in her 60s died in an incident on a farm in Co Laois on Monday, gardaí have said.
Emergency services attended the scene of the fatal workplace incident at the farm, located in the Portlaoise area, on Monday evening.
The woman was fatally injured during the incident and pronounced dead at the scene.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has been notified, a spokesman for the gardaí added.
