A woman in her 50s is in a serious condition in hospital after being found lying on a Co Down road.
She was found unconscious on the Sheepland Road, Ardglass at about 4.30am.
A bicycle was discovered nearby and police are investigating the possibility she had been cycling in the area.
Det Sgt Emme Wallace has appealed for anyone with information to come forward by dialling police on 101.
