A young male motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car at Blessington, Co Wicklow yesterday evening.
The crash happened at Crosscool Harbour on the N81 at around 6.30pm.
The 28-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to Naas General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The road, which was closed for a technical examination, has since reopened.
Gardai have asked witnesses to the crash to contact Blessington Garda station on 045-857620.
