The High Court has reserved judgment on an appeal against a court decision blocking the controversial sale for £400,000 of a Co Dublin house, which was home to two elderly sisters and has an estimated value of some £2 million.

Ms Eileen and Ms Rose Blackall, of Blackrock, Co Dublin, have been involved in lengthy legal proceedings relating to the house which they own with their sister-in-law at Marino Park, Black rock. In the latest proceedings before the High Court, building company Chessington Ltd is appealing a Circuit Court decision blocking the sale of the property to the company.
