A man has been arrested in Dublin in connection with the possession of a firearm, reports said this morning.
It is understood the 39-year-old man was arrested at a pub in the Santry area at about 11.30pm last night, as part of an ongoing operation.
Gardaí discovered a handgun concealed in the man's trousers.
He is being held at Santry Garda station.
