A man who earlier this year admitted raping a woman in Dublin was yesterday permitted to change his plea to not guilty. He told Mr Justice Carney in the Central Criminal Court he was "in shock" when he entered the guilty plea, due to heavy medication he had been prescribed in prison. The man is charged with raping the woman in 1996. A trial date will be fixed on June 25th.
