A man (21) will appear in court in Co Donegal this morning in connection with an attack on a elderly man who was severely beaten during a break-in at his home in Donegal town last month.
The young man will appear before Letterkenny District Court in connection with the attack on 74-year-old William Bartley.
Another man who was questioned about the assault was released without charge.
