The number of people believed to be missing in the rubble of the World Trade Center has fallen to 4,815, New York Mayor Mr Rudy Giuliani told reporters today.

Mr Giuliani also said a total of 417 bodies had been recovered from the WTC site, of which 366 had been identified.

Two hijacked passenger jets laden with fuel were rammed into the twin towers on September 11th, bringing the structures crashing to the ground.
