Korolyov - Two Russian cosmonauts had difficulties during a rewiring job on the Mir space station's solar energy system yesterday, making it unclear whether they could complete the operation. The pair connected two cables to the airtight seal on the damaged Spektr module but were having trouble with the third. The aim of the operation was to hook up Spektr's solar panels to a computerised guidance system in another module which should allow the panels to track the sun's rays and increase Mir's power supply. - (Reuters)
