Team leader Helen Clarke-Bennett said newborn was doing well and bonding with its mother.
“ The baby joins a troop of eight white-crowned mangabeys, three of which are under three years of age, so the new arrival will have plenty of playmates to grow and develop with,” she said.
A Sulawesi crested macaque was born earlier this month on December 5th and will join a troop of 17.
The baby will stay feeding from its mother for up to a year.
The zoo will be open all over Christmas except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
