A majority of OPEC oil ministers are in favour of offering two million barrels per day of spare output capacity but a 500,000 barrel per day (bpd) increase in the group's official output ceiling is still a possibility, OPEC President Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahd al-Sabah said today.
"I believe that most members will go for the two million," he said.
He was speaking ahead of Tuesday's session of OPEC's meeting due to start.
