The launch of Lucinda Creighton’s new party will not take place within the eight week deadline she set in January.

The launch is now expected in early March, after some other parties’ ardfheisenna have concluded.

Meanwhile, the group will hold a meeting in Dublin on Thursday night for people who have registered with the fledging grouping.

Ms Creighton, a former Fine Gael minister of state for Europe, held a "Reboot Ireland" event on January 2nd with financial adviser and commentator Eddie Hobbs.
