Britain's Labour Party is showing signs of closing the gap on the Conservatives following the party’s annual conference last week, according to an opinion poll tonight.
The ICM poll for the
Guardiangave the Tories a lead of nine points over Labour, compared to a 15-point advantage a month ago.
The poll puts the Conservatives down three points on 41 per cent, Labour was up three on 32 per cent, while the Liberal Democrats were on 18 per cent.
