A 30 year old married man has been charged with the rape of a middle aged woman at her home in Connemara. The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at a special sitting of Galway District Court yesterday. He was released on bail of £10,000 on condition, that he surrender his passport to gardai and that he stay away from the injured party and her place of work.
