Restrictions on loyal order parades in a number of towns and villages in Northern Ireland were announced last night by the Parades Commission. These include Ballycastle, where there was "considerable disorder" after last year's parade, and the Lower Ormeau Road in Belfast, where a Royal Black Perceptory has been banned from marching.
The Orange Order has again been banned from marching through the nationalist Gar vaghy Road area of Portadown.
The commission has considered over 3,000 marches this summer and made rulings on 53 of them.
