The Sinn Fein spokeswoman on justice, Ms Bairbre de Brun, and the party's chairman, Mr Mitchel McLaughlin, have met the Criminal Justice Review Group.
Ms de Brun said Sinn Fein had urged the group to examine the role of the DPP and the judiciary in relation to the killing of the Belfast solicitor, Pat Finucane, 10 years ago.
