Tehran - A leader of Iran's biggest student group has been arrested in connection with last month's unrest, according to the government daily Iran.

Mr Ali Tavakoli, a member of the central council of the Office to Consolidate Unity (OCU), was detained after being questioned about his role in student demonstrations which led to rioting.
