A suicide bomber attacked a convoy carrying foreign forces today in the Afghan capital.
Police said the attack happened in the western outskirts of the city and that there were no immediate word of casualties.
Earlier today, Nato had reported six civilians killed during an operation against Taliban guerrillas in southern Afghanistan.
Nato and US-led troops along with several foreign security firms have bases in Kabul, which has witnessed a number of suicide attacks by Taliban guerrillas in recent weeks.

Yesterday, a Nato soldier was killed in an ambush in neighbouring Uruzgan province.
Afghanistan has seen a steady rise of violence over the last two years to now reach the worst levels since Afghan and US-led forces toppled the Taliban in 2001.
