Three men have been shot in separate paramilitary-style attacks in Belfast, the RUC said.

Two were taken to hospital after being shot in both legs last night.

The first, a 30-year-old man, was attacked by two men in an alleyway off Kiln Park, in the Tullycarnet Estate, in loyalist east Belfast, at 9.15 p.m.

The other man, aged 22, was shot in an alley off Silverstream Road, north Belfast, shortly after 10 p.m.

Half-an-hour later a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital after being shot in both feet in Rockmore Road, Ballymurphy, west Belfast.
