SO much for the good weather. It all ended before it began and last Monday, a goodly crowd took shelter in the Solomon Gallery where an exhibition of Tuscan landscapes by Trevor Geoghegan provided at least a memory of sun and light. Suzanne MacDougald, recently returned from Italy, had recommended the region to the artist and Mary Finan of the Ogilvy Group opened the show, speaking generously of Geoghan, whom she first encountered over nine years ago.
Bill Hughes of Radius TV was in good spirits after his recent visit to the US for the filming of the Irish Tenors show. He's also just received news that record sales have topped a quarter million worldwide - enough to put a smile on anyone's face. He chatted to Tara Murphy of the Solomon, who's busy getting ready for her wedding and subsequent honeymoon in Bali.
