Two men have been charged following the discovery of more than £1 million worth of drugs in Co Tyrone on Friday

Two men have been charged following the discovery of more than £1 million worth of drugs in Co Tyrone on Friday. An RUC drugs squad seized 17kg of cannabis, 50,000 ecstasy tablets and a large sum of money at a farmhouse near Cookstown.

A 53-year-old man from Leeds, England, and a 40-year-old man from Co Tyrone were charged at a special court sitting in Dungannon with having the drugs and with intent to supply. They were remanded in custody to Cookstown Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
