Two people have been held after a man was shot and seriously hurt in a Dundalk off-licence last night.
The incident happened at an off-licence on Bridge St just before 10pm.
The man was transferred to St James' Hospital in Dublin, where he is in a serious but stable condition.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s are currently assisting Gardai with their investigation
