Two shot in Belfast paramilitary-style attacks

Two men are being treated in hospital this morning after being shot in paramilitary-style attacks in Belfast overnight.

Two men are being treated in hospital this morning after being shot in paramilitary-style attacks in Belfast overnight.

The victims, aged 23 and 25, were found in Belvoir Drive in south Belfast  at around 11.00 p.m. They had  been shot in the legs.

A PSNI spokeswoman said a number of items were taken from the scene for forensic examination.
