A man has been arrested after flying to Morocco with knives and a gas bottle onboard a Ryanair flight from France.

The 31-year-old Frenchman, who has been described as “radicalised” by local authorities, was arrested when the aircraft landed after flying in from Nantes.

The man had reportedly been under house arrest in France previously.

He was held upon his arrival in Fez, where authorities discovered the items, also including a black balaclava, in his luggage.
