Sheep took to the protest lines in France this morning as shepherds decided they'd had enough of wolf protection policy.

The bleating hordes gathered near the Eiffel Tower in Paris to rally against the French government’s Plan Loup (wolf plan), introduced to try to pacify shepherds while also protecting wolves, ahead a meeting with the French minister for agriculture.

Another such protest was also mounted in front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Four wolves currently live in the Vosges mountain range in eastern France, according to the shepherds, and some 100 attacks by them against sheep have been reported in the area this year.
