A 19 year old man is recovering in hospital after being shot in both legs in a loyalist estate in west Belfast

A 19 year old man is recovering in hospital after being shot in both legs in a loyalist estate in west Belfast. The incident happened at High Green in Highfield on Sunday night. A man is being questioned about the shooting.

A 16 year old youth is also recovering in hospital after a "punishment" attack in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, on Sunday night. He suffered a broken arm, broken leg and severe bruising to his body after he was beaten in Woodbourne Crescent by several masked men with iron bars. The men claimed to be from the IRA.
