Paris - Algerian President Liamine Zeroual, declaring his country's political crisis was over after the local ballot on October 23rd, said in a television broadcast speech yesteerday that there would be no dialogue with the radical Islamic Salvation Front (FIS).
"In future, the national dialogue would not take place outside the framework of the institutions grouping all those who have adopted the principles of democracy," he said, referring to the 10 political parties represented in the National Assembly following a general election last June. FIS was barred from fielding candidates in the poll.
