Galway United 2 Dundalk 2:MOST OF the action at Terryland Park happened off the pitch as word filtered through that manager Seán Connor is on the verge of departing from Galway United by mutual consent.
Connor was in the dugout last night for his final game in charge having agreed a compensation package with Galway, who remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier Division table despite registering their first point since April.
Galway pinched a shock lead in the 10th minute when Korean Jin Gu Kim provided a flash of class. Johnny Breen levelled before Dundalk took an 80th-minute lead courtesy of Mark Quigley. However, Alan Murphy kept his cool to slot home a late Galway penalty.
