This is not how the spring was supposed to go. The return of Baker Bradley, the co-opting of Paddy Bradley as a selector, the repatriation of a handful of previously disaffected/ ignored/forgotten players – it was all supposed to add up to a promotion challenge at least. Capable of a small tremor in an early qualifier but can’t see much more.

Last good day
: Made it through the swings and roundabouts to the 2009 Ulster final.
