Katie Taylor’s opponent for first professional fight announced

Five-time world champion will face Poland’s Karina Kopinska at London’s SSE Arena

Katie Taylor will face Poland's Karina Kopinska when she makes her professional bow in London on Saturday November 26th.

The five-time world champion makes her first foray into the pro ranks at the SSE Wembley Arena on the undercard of Tommy-Coyle's super-lightweight clash with John Wayne Hibbert, with the fight to be aired live on Sky Sports.

Taylor's opponent is entering her 25th professional fight, and has taken WBC Super-Featherweight champion Eva Wahlstrom the distance .

However the fight is likely to act as a schooling session for Taylor before she appears on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s IBF world heavyweight title defence in Manchester on December 10th.
