Ireland number eight Max Deegan has been voted Under-20 World Championship player of the tournament.
The former St Michael’s College schoolboy was rewarded for a series of outstanding performances that was reflected in two man of the match awards. He also scored three tries against New Zealand, Argentina and one in the final against England.
During the week he was awarded a place in the Leinster academy for next season.
