The IRFU will confirm the ticketing process for Ireland’s scheduled open day training sessions in Galway, Cork and the RDS in the next 24 hours. There will be no charge for the successful applicants.
Joe Schmidt’s extended 45-man Irish squad will train in front of the public at the Sportsground on July 14th and there will be a similar venture in Cork on July 29th. The application process for tickets will be handled by the Connacht and Munster Branches, respectively.
The third open training session will be staged at the RDS offering supporters an opportunity to bid a final farewell to Ireland's trimmed down, 31-man World Cup squad. This will fall under the auspices of the IRFU and the tickets will be available on tickermaster.ie.
Ireland will play four warm-up matches in August and early September as preparation for the World Cup heading for the Millennium stadium on Saturday, August 8th (2.30pm) to take on Wales before hosting Scotland at the Aviva stadium the following Saturday, August 15th (5pm).
Wales travel to Dublin for a game on Saturday, August 29th (2.30pm) with the final warm-up game against England at Twickenham on Saturday, September 5th (2.30pm).
