Manchester United 1 Burnley 1
Manchester United could muster only a point against Burnley on Saturday after substitute Zeki Amdouni scored a late penalty to rescue a 1-1 Premier League draw for the relegation-threatened side.
Burnley's 87th-minute penalty, awarded after goalkeeper Andre Onana fouled Amdouni in the box, cancelled out a late strike by Antony and leaves Erik ten Hag's team sixth in the standings.
The draw was a blow to United's fading hopes of a European qualifying spot, as they sit six points behind fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur who have two games in hand.
Burnley, who are 19th, kept alive their survival hopes with the draw.

United squandered numerous chances and had Onana to thank for keeping Burnley off the scoresheet before Antony broke the deadlock in the 79th minute. The Brazilian intercepted a poor pass and sprinted into the box before finishing into the bottom corner. A fan handed Antony a Sonic the Hedgehog toy, which was hoisted aloft in celebration.
The good mood at Old Trafford was short-lived as Onana punched Amdouni in the face while clearing the ball in the 87th minute. VAR confirmed the penalty which Amdouni calmly put into the bottom corner to give his side a valuable point.
"Result is very important for us, we knew that coming to Old Trafford would be difficult but at the end I think we deserved this point," Amdouni told Premier League Productions. "Never easy to take a penalty in the last five minutes at 1-0 down. But I took my breath and took it.
“We have three games [left of the season], I haven’t seen the other results but we will play until the last game and we will play until the end.”
Onana was pressed into several acrobatic saves, including two from Lyle Foster in the first half and a shot from Wilson Odobert seconds before the final whistle that the keeper stopped with his leg at the near post.
United had 27 shots to the Clarets’ 16, with Alejandro Garnacho accounting for many of the home side’s, including a second half strike from the edge of the box that Arijanet Muric palmed over the crossbar.
Newcastle United 5 Sheffield United 1
Alexander Isak netted twice while Bruno Guimaraes and Callum Wilson were also on target as Newcastle United thrashed Sheffield United 5-1 at St James’ Park on Saturday to confirm the visitors’ relegation from the Premier League.
Ben Osborn also scored an own goal for seventh-placed Newcastle, who move to 53 points from 34 games this season.
Sheffield remain on 16 points from 35 matches and cannot finish outside the bottom three.
Newcastle keep alive their hopes of European football next season and are a point behind sixth-placed Manchester United following another crisp display, in the second half at least, as they took their tally of Premier League goals against Sheffield this season to 13.
Sheffield took the lead via Anel Ahmedhodzic and might have had a couple more goals as they were the better side in the first half but, as has been the case so often this season, they could not sustain their performance for 90 minutes.
Newcastle beat Sheffield 8-0 at Bramall Lane earlier this season but were second best in the opening 45 minutes.
The visitors started much the brighter and took the lead inside five minutes. Ahmedhodzic headed in Gustavo Hamer’s cross from deep following a fine back-post run.
The visitors continued to press and Cameron Archer saw his goal-bound effort blocked by Dan Burn.
Newcastle were poor in the opening quarter but one piece of incisive play saw them draw level. Jacob Murphy provided the through-ball and Isak showed composure to slip it past visiting goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
The home side took the lead eight minutes into the second half with a rare Guimaraes header as Anthony Gordon picked out the Brazilian at the back post and the latter stooped to score.
The game was over as a contest just before the hour-mark when Mason Holgate fouled his former Everton team mate Anthony Gordon and Isak extended Newcastle’s lead to 3-1.
It was a one-sided contest after that as Osborn put the ball into his own net during a scramble in the box and Wilson thrashed home a fifth goal when he was given too much time and space by a wilting visiting defence.
Fulham 1 Crystal Palace 1
A scorching left-footed finish by Jeffrey Schlupp got Crystal Palace a late equaliser at Fulham, salvaging a 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Saturday.
Adam Wharton’s pass found Schlupp outside the box in the 87th minute and the Ghana forward sent the ball crashing into the net from 20 yards out.
Fulham had taken the lead in the 52nd minute when Rodrigo Muniz headed Timothy Castagne’s cross into the net from the edge of the six-yard box.
Fulham remained 13th with 43 points from 35 matches, one place and three points ahead of Palace.
