Paul Pogba has been left on the Manchester United bench for Wednesday's Champions League clash at Sevilla.
The 24-year-old pulled out of Saturday’s FA Cup fifth-round win at Huddersfield through illness, but recovered in time to travel with the team to Spain.
However, Pogba was only named as a substitute for the last-16 first leg at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, with Jose Mourinho plumping for a midfield including Scott McTominay.
Pogba’s spell on the bench last just over a quarter of an hour after Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera was forced off with a hamstring injury, with Pogba coming on with the game still goalless.
MANCHESTER UNITED: De Gea, Valencia, Lindelof, Smalling, Young, Matic, McTominay, Herrera, Sanchez, Mata, Lukaku. Substitutes: Romero, Bailly, Darmian, Pogba, Lingard, Martial, Rashford.
