As one of the fastest growing business disciplines around the word, CX is playing an ever-more integral role in Irish business, and with the launch of The Irish CX Impact Awards, those who are leading the way will be recognised for their great work.
With 15 awards to be decided, the companies on this year’s shortlist have risen to the CX challenge, as advances in technology, improved lines of communication and a cluttered marketplace has placed as an increased emphasis on top class customer experience. The awards will be decided by an independent judging panel, led by Cathy Summers, director of The CX Company, which is also a patron for the awards.
Gerard O'Neill, Chairman of Amárach, has been highly impressed with the standard of entries as well as the trajectory of the Irish customer experience in general. “Here in Ireland we no longer have the luxury of comparing our performance to the best in Ireland, hoping that’s good enough. What the CX Impact Awards show us is that Irish businesses now recognise the need to benchmark themselves against the best in the world, because that’s what their customers – in Ireland and abroad – increasingly demand.”
Shortlisted in the category of CX Impact in Telecoms, Vodafone’s CXX programme manager Elaine Kelly greeted the news by saying, “We are honoured to be shortlisted for an Irish CX Impact award. We put our customers at the core of everything we do and our priority is to develop leading edge technologies to meet our customer’s needs. Our key focus is ensuring that our customers have the very best experience.”
The CXIA is the premiere stage to celebrate and recognise CX excellence in Ireland
The Inaugural Irish CX Impact Awards promise to bring out the biggest names in the industry, including the patrons and supporters who make the event possible. Patron of the Awards, The CX Company, brought a high level of enthusiasm for the event. Their CEO, Michael Killeen, noted, “The CXIA is the premiere stage to celebrate and recognise CX excellence in Ireland. They have gathered our most experienced judges to recognise the best practitioners and the incredible work they are doing to deliver amazing experiences to Irish consumers. Everyone is a winner tonight.”
Supporter of the Awards, CXPA, is keen to bring more attention to this key field. “The Irish CX Impact Awards presents a great opportunity for CXPA to increase the awareness and visibility of Customer Experience profession in Ireland. We enable insightful exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience among experts and we support companies, teams and individuals in reaching the highest CX standards. We hope that together we can spark some valuable networking and fruitful conversations across industries,” said Agnieszka Anna Jozwiak, who works in CX&UX Consulting CXPA and is also serving as a judge for the event.
The Irish CX Impact Awards are run by Business River, with 15 different awards handed out on the night. The full shortlist is available below and to read about other Business River events visit their news hub.
