Irish software company WorkHuman has added to its Irish leadership team, appointing a new general manager for Ireland and a vice president of global operations, as the company further strengthening Ireland’s position within the organisation.
The company, which makes human resources software, said its current senior vice president of global operations Jim O’Dea has been named general manager for Ireland. The expanded role includes overseeing Irish operations and integration between Dublin and the company’s US business.
Daniel Ryan, formerly of Diageo and Unilever, has joined Workhuman as vice president of global operations.
The appointments follow the addition of Shmulik Barel as vice president of engineering in Dublin to drive AI product innovation.
“Ireland is integral to our business, and these recent investments underscore the region’s importance as our global innovation and operational hub,” said Eric Mosley, Workhuman’s chief executive. “Under Jim and Daniel’s leadership, we will continue to strengthen operational alignment and further accelerate growth.”
Founded in 1999 and formerly known as Globoforce, Workhuman operates employee reward and incentive schemes on behalf of some of the world’s biggest companies, including Cisco, Moderna, Merck, LinkedIn and Intuit. More than six million employees are on the WorkHuman platform across 180 countries.
